This year, the survey came at a time when shopping behaviors were evolving due to heavy economic uncertainty, a plunging stock market, and quite a few impacted or threatened jobs. Meanwhile, AI and other technologies were advancing at an incredible pace, increasing the number of channels for which to engage and shaping the way people interacted with brands and consumed content.
