Steve Pruden is the Chief Executive Officer of Studio Science, a design & innovation agency. For more than 20 years, Studio Science has worked with established market leaders, enterprise software companies, and assertive venture-backed startups to deliver transformative brands, products and services. Steve joins Studio Science from Appirio where he helped lead the business through a $500M acquisition by Wipro, an $8B+ global IT services company.
Most recently, Steve served as Appirio’s senior vice president of Human Resources, where he was responsible for all global people functions for the company. Under Steve’s leadership, Appirio won numerous Best Places to Work awards including being named to Fortune’s Best Companies to Work For in 2017 in the US and India.
Steve founded Appirio’s Indianapolis operations and headquarters in 2012. He was responsible for corporate strategy and partnerships, including Appirio's Amazon Web Services relationship. Prior to his current role, Steve led self-service crowdsourcing initiatives with topcoder and was responsible for Appirio’s alliance with Apple. Steve was vice president of CRM services where he led Appirio’s global Salesforce.com consulting practice. He has partnered with Appirio’s largest customers including Facebook, NetApp, and Robert Half to move millions of dollars in infrastructure and hundreds of thousands of users to the public cloud.
A graduate of Indiana University, Steve joined Appirio in 2010 after helping lead the Information Technology function for a publicly traded, diversified holding company serving over 25,000 employees and millions of customers annually.
Steve enjoys spending time with his family, performing and writing music, and road racing sports cars. He is based in Indianapolis, IN.
