In his role as a full-stack developer, Hugh brings life to the vision of Studio Science clients by providing front and back-end software development. By working closely with our Web & UI/UX designers, he is able to optimize the conversion of client vision to product and ecosystem establishment.

He comes to the team from a national leader in renewable energy, Moxie Solar, where he honed his skills in Python, Node, Javascript, and cloud management.  He also spent time in public organizing and political campaigning, working to galvanize remote and collocated teams around shared goals using communication technology solutions

Hugh loves the ability to empower clients through development and believes that great software is the foundation of great social relationships.  He sees development as the opportunity to create more joy in the world by designing systems that work for people, and he approaches each project with this viewpoint at heart.

Outside of work, Hugh enjoys playing music, camping, and traveling with friends and family… but he’s most likely to be found playing golf whenever the weather allows.
