Kathleen Armbruster: Why do you like working for Studio Science? What makes you proud to be part of the team?
Kaelyn Bock: One of my biggest personal career values is doing work that solves real problems and makes a meaningful impact on people’s lives. During my time at Studio Science, I’ve been fortunate to work on several public sector projects that make a tangible difference by simplifying the process for applying for businesses, internships, and other types of grants.
Kathleen Armbruster: What does it mean to you to be part of the Studio Science team?
Kaelyn Bock: I enjoy being part of a team that’s dedicated and serious about the work without taking itself too seriously. Unlike my experience with past employers, our collaboration feels seamless, with shared goals and a supportive environment where I don’t feel on edge and feel valued for the contributions I make.
Kathleen Armbruster: What are some of the reasons you choose to stay at Studio Science?
Kaelyn Bock: I love the variety of projects I get to work on, constantly exploring different areas and staying adaptable – that’s a big highlight for me. I also value how comfortable and appreciated I feel here, with supportive managers and a lack of imposter syndrome. The friendly, approachable team culture, where everyone supports one another and respects work-life balance, makes it a great environment.
Kathleen Armbruster: Can you share a favorite Studio Science memory with us?
Kaelyn Bock: Gosh, lots but when I joined Studio Science through the acquisition of RevTech360, I was initially worried about changes or a more intense work environment. However, from my first interactions with the Studio Science team, it was clear everything would be fine. People were welcoming, sending GIFs, and making jokes – it made me comfortable from the get go.
Kathleen Armbruster: Our core values are: 1. Honesty is the only policy 2. None of us are smart as all of us 3. Being great as a choice. Which core value do you feel you exemplify most in your day-to-day work?
Kaelyn Bock: Definitely none of us are as smart as all of us. I love the constant learning and collaboration here – it’s rewarding to contribute and help others while knowing I can ask for help without feeling like a burden. The culture is so supportive that we openly share knowledge, saving time and solving problems together, rather than struggling alone.
