Kristian works with entrepreneurs and business leaders to design compelling brand experiences, create new business models, and innovate new products and services. Kristian founded Studio Science and is a Partner at High Alpha, a new venture studio that conceives, operates, and scales enterprise cloud companies.
Previously, Kristian was an active angel investor, co-founding Gravity Ventures, a seed-stage venture fund, and several software companies, including Octiv, Lessonly, Visible, and Pathagility.
Kristian has a diverse background in technology, design, and venture capital. He is frequently invited to speak on the intersection of design and entrepreneurship at events, such as SXSW, HOW Design, and Transform (Oslo). Kristian and his work have been featured in publications, such as Print Magazine, Graphic Design USA, Logo Lounge, and on cable and network TV, including Your Business (MSNBC), Inside Indiana Business (WFYI), and more. Kristian has been recognized as a member of the Forty Under 40 class by both the Indianapolis Business Journal and Arkansas Business, as the 2016 Alumni of the Year (Anderson University), and Designer of the Week by Print Magazine.
In addition to maintaining several corporate board directorships, Kristian is actively involved in a number of philanthropic and nonprofit endeavors. He co-founded the Speak Easy, serving as the first board chair, founded the Arkansas Fellowship, and previously served as the Chairman of the Harrison Center for the Arts.
Kristian has been married to his wife Brandi for 15 years, and together they have 6 children. He prioritizes his faith, his family and is passionate about entrepreneurship, design, conservation, hunting, fishing, gardening and the outdoors.
