Blaise is a Senior Designer focusing on product design. A natural born tinkerer, he loves the process of solving complex problems and implementing beautiful solutions.
Blaise attended the Herron School of Art for furniture design. After school, he volunteered with a nonprofit in California that rebuilt schools in Uganda. He started his design career in 2009, at a branding firm in Indianapolis, moving from intern all the way to Art Director. In 2013, he and his wife moved to Philadelphia where she was attending grad school. He applied to the closest agency not knowing he was about to work for one of the most innovative UX firms on the east coast. It was here his passion for UX was born. He worked on projects for clients like Thomson Reuters and the White House, but his main focus was building an investment goal tracking app for a global investment firm.
In 2015, after their daughter was born, they headed to back to Indianapolis. He met with the Studio Science team and knew this was where he wanted to be. His background in branding, love for fine art, and desire to make well-designed products aligns perfectly with Studio Science’s bold design approach.
He and his wife are active members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church, where she is a counselor. They are passionate about rebuilding the Near Eastside, and exploring Indy’s restaurant and coffee scene. When Blaise isn’t at work or with his family, you can find him in his woodshop.
