Director of Special Projects and Executive Assistant
Amanda Jones serves as Director of Special Projects and Executive Assistant to Kristian Andersen, Founder of Studio Science and Partner at High Alpha.
Prior to working at Studio Science, Amanda joined the Orr Fellowship in 2013. In the Fellowship, she worked as a Client Success and Product Enablement Manager at a marketing firm for two years.
Following the Fellowship, Amanda started at Studio Science and immediately began working with Kristian, who was in the midst of co-founding what is now known as High Alpha, a venture studio that conceives, operates, and scales enterprise cloud companies. Amanda has supported High Alpha since its inception, implementing operational procedures and providing multifaceted personnel and office support. Her first project was managing the office buildout for High Alpha and its upcoming portfolio companies.
Amanda’s chief focus is optimizing Kristian’s time, ensuring it is spent efficiently and effectively. Her duties include scheduling, fielding requests, communicating on his behalf, reviewing and preparing documents, and directing his energy when and where needed. Amanda also serves as an Office and Events Manager at High Alpha. She is known for being very fast-paced, driven, diligent, detail-oriented, and thorough.
Outside of the office, you can find Amanda exploring new restaurants and bars, staying active on the Cultural Trail, and relaxing at her home in Fountain Square. She loves living in Indianapolis.
Amanda graduated from Ball State University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and minors in Professional Writing and Telecommunications.
