MongoDB, one of the world’s largest publicly traded data platforms, required a partner to help it build an enterprise-grade framework in a fundamentally sound and scalable way. MongoDB needed a solution that would integrate seamlessly with its Salesforce instance, Google Workspace, and NetSuite; but as MongoDB grows, its systems must be agile enough to accommodate other platforms.
Adaptability was just as important as growth to the MongoDB team. As it identified the need for a new solution, the team also had to balance several shifting priorities and needs. Those priorities and needs would likely continue to shift as a solution was built and implemented.
Leveraging Mulesoft Anypoint’s modular nature, Studio Science took a building-block approach to implementation and onboarding. The Studio Science team chose Mulesoft Jumpstart, a short-term engagement that provides full implementation capabilities and a shorter ramp time.
Studio Science took a collaborative approach to the implementation, defining the APIs and developing integrations. The agency worked closely with MongoDB’s subject matter experts and technical leads to test APIs and walked through unit testing together to ensure a successful launch.
By partnering with Studio Science to implement Mulesoft, MongoDB now has the framework in place to launch its replacement of Dell Boomi, another iPaaS platform. Studio Science also provided key assets and approaches to help the MongoDB team attain its Mulesoft integration goals and become self-sufficient after meeting SOX compliance.
