Sales Development Representative
Studio Science is seeking a self-motivated Sales Development Representative to fuel the firm’s growth.
The ideal candidate will be a consultative salesperson with a problem solver mindset, striving to deliver value to clients by understanding their needs better than anyone else. This role will work directly with the Marketing Manager and will report to our VP of Marketing and Business Development.
This is an SDR role quite like no other. We are not a software company - so we are not expecting the successful candidate to generate 100 leads per month. What we are expecting, however, is 6 - 10 ultra qualified leads that may close anywhere between 1 month and 12 months.
A flexible, earnest, and creative thinker, the successful candidate will contribute leads to the top of the funnel and work with the sales team to close business.
The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar role. Selling creative or technology services into the enterprise is an added bonus.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Build an outreach plan
Partner with Sales and Marketing to map out the right accounts
Develop business opportunities within a defined market and segment
Work alongside the marketing team to successfully attract leads and opportunities
Execute the early stages of the sales cycle to guide prospects from the lead phase through to proposal
Demonstrated success in generating opportunities for your past employer
Must be comfortable working in both short and long sales cycles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive in an environment of continual feedback; address stressful situations with poise, understanding, and tact
Experience interacting with clients
Represent Studio Science at functions and events
