As the Marketing Designer, Lorena is focused on translating the Studio Science marketing strategy into compelling creative assets to drive brand awareness and demand generation in the marketplace. She does this by collaborating with the sales and marketing team to strategize and execute powerful, design-driven solutions.
Lorena has worked as a graphic designer for global publicly-traded companies, marketing agencies, and SaaS start-ups. Brands she has worked with include Emplify, AbbVie, Eli Lilly and Company, Anthem, Penguin Random House, Nike, Motorola, and Intel.
Lorena earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a second major in Political Science from San Diego State University. She developed her design craftsmanship on-the-job, and continues to hone her craft on every project and via graduate-level and professional courses.
One of Lorena’s proudest accomplishments is the STEM-inspired graphic artwork she created which was later acquired as part of Cummins’ world headquarters renovation. Her work is displayed alongside artwork by other local, regional, and internationally renowned artists that visually connects with the company’s mission, vision and values.
When not designing, Lorena loves spending time with her family, photographing fungi in the wild, cultivating her certified wildlife habitat garden, reading, and playing bass guitar.
