Katie develops content strategies, assists with research, and produces foundational documents for Studio Science clients. She identifies impossible problems and transforms them into exciting opportunities.
Katie attended Denison University and majored in Creative Writing with a concentration in Narrative Nonfiction. If you ask her about it, she’ll probably say she studied how to tell a good story.
Katie comes to Studio Science with a varied background, having worked in the private, public and nonprofit sectors. In her last position, she served as Head of Advancement for a local nonprofit, improving the brand, content, and public persona of the agency. She was the youngest department head in the history of the organization.
Additionally, Katie dedicates extra time making sure Studio Science is connected with the Indianapolis community managing our Field Science program. The Field Science program connects Studio Science employees with community organizations working towards economic development, basic needs, and education to create better experiences for everyone.
Katie lives in Irvington with an urban jungle she spends 10% of her time watering. If she’s not there, you can probably find Katie at a thrift store looking for furniture to refinish. Her dream project is restoring a vintage canned ham trailer, so if you find a good one, let her know.
