Cole develops content strategies, assists with research, and produces foundational documents for Studio Science clients. He transforms insights into ideas and ideas into executable strategy.
Cole earned his master’s degree at Ball State University, where he studied both critical and creative writing.
Equal parts idea generator and research nerd, Cole comes to Studio Science with a varied writing background. Most recently, he was a copywriter at a boutique creative agency where he helped clients discover, develop and maintain consistent voices across print, television, radio and other deliverables.
In addition to his client work, Cole writes narrative nonfiction—personal essays that are continually fascinated with community and his place in it. Through writing that is often vulnerable, he is motivated by author Abigail Thomas’s advice to “be honest, dig deep, or don’t bother.”
Cole lives in Woodruff Place with his partner Aric and eventually an adorable rescue dog. When not at his writing desk, you can often find him with a book in hand or a Broadway Cast Recording playing over his headphones.
