Alyssa serves as a Visual Communication Designer with Studio Science. She graduated from North Carolina State University, with a Bachelor of Graphic Design. While she was there, she participated in the student chapter of AIGA to connect students with skills that weren’t included in the main curriculum and agencies in Raleigh and helped co-create the College of Design Equity Initiative, which focused on cultivating a safer experience for all students in the College of Design.
Before joining Studio Science, Alyssa served as a Design Camp Counselor for the summer camp held by the College of Design. There, she became passionate about introducing middle and high school students to design, and showing them that no matter their background, design can be an option for their professional work life. She continues to work with this program and look for opportunities to bring design to schools in Raleigh that have limited funding for design education.
Her top goal while working with clients is to help bring their stories to life, and create a meaningful connection between the client and their customers.
Outside of work, you can find Alyssa crocheting, weaving, collating, and trying to find the best matcha latte in the Triangle.
